A guide to Referrals on Zolaroid
Creators can earn money from referrals on Zolaroid. There are two types of referrals:
- Creator - when a creator refers another creator to the platform
- Fans - when a creator refers a fan to the platform
Rewards
Rewards work slightly differently depending on if you refer a creator or a fan.
Creator Referrals
As a creator you can earn money by referring fellow creators to the platform. When a creator signs up using your referral link a new "pending referral" will be created. Once the creator finishes setting up their profile (completes ID verification and adds bank details) the referral will be "complete".
- You will receive $10 once a referred creator completes their profile
- You will earn:
- 10% of their weekly earnings for the first year
- 2% of their weekly earnings indefinitely after the first year
Fan Referrals
As a creator you can earn money by referring fans to the platform. When a fan signs up using your referral link a new "pending referral" will be created. Once a fan adds a verifies their age the referral will be "complete".
- You will earn:
- 5% of their weekly spending for the first year
- 2% of their weekly spending indefinitely after the first year
Referral Codes and Links
As a creator you can create referral codes in your Creator Dashboard under the "Referrals" tab. You can create as many Creator and Fan codes as you like.
You can then refer a creator or fan to the site by linking them to your profile page with the following link structure:
