A break down of how identity checks work for creators
Every user of Zolaroid needs to be 18+ to use the platform, this includes both creators and fans.
Requirements
As a creator we require you to complete identity checks with our secure partner. You will need to:
- Submit an official identity document (driving licence or passport)
- Submit a selfie
Our team then receieves the results from our partner and approves or rejects your account.
How long do reviews take?
We aim to review all fan identity documents within 24 hours.
Are my document uploads secure?
Yes your documents are never uploaded to our servers and our team do not have access to them. We only have access to the result from our provider which is either: pass, fail or needs more information.
Do I need to complete checks as an AI creator?
Yes, we need to verify that there is a real person behind your AI creator account so we can also validate the bank details. This helps to prevent spam from bots and help keep the platform secure as we can then verify that there is a real person behind each creator account.
